Lennie Advice on a Doctor's Appointment

Today, my son has a follow-up appointment after his operation.  So, I decided to draw just three cards from the Mystical Lenormand (Königsfurt-Urania, 2004).  Once again, I applied the Houses system for small spreads that I talked about earlier in the week, adding the card number to the position number to give a House number.

1) Mountain (21) equals 22 - Garden - blocked choices, possible delays.
2) Woman (29) equals 31 - Sun - energetic/motivated/illuminating woman.
3) Book (26) equals 29 - caring approach to a project, intuitive approach to secrets.

To me, this suggests there may be delays at the hospital (always very possible), and so, as I am energetic, I may need to turn my energy to something else to stop myself getting annoyed.  I checked out where I am in one of my projects, carefully looking through to see what I can best do on my phone, as opposed to on the computer with everything available.  I also wonder if I can ferret out information from one of the doctors, to shine some light on what choices we have moving forward...

  1. Again a wonderful example how the use of houses can expand a reading. Did you know there once was someone who has written a novel in the text feature of his phone :D
Good luck today in the hospital! Hopefully everything will be fine

    1. Hi Ellen, glad you liked this. As for writing a whole novel on the phone, I can well imagine :)
Everything went fine at the hospital, and we got some useful suggestions, though there was one bit that is still not clear to me - a little mystery (Book) that one person said one thing, and another said the opposite...

  2. I don't know that I've ever understood the "house" system until you just gave this example! I guess the small spread didn't overwhelm my tiny brain. :D This is very cool. The waiting game is the worst part of doctor visits for me, especially with a child. I hope you get some encouraging news from the doctor. Maybe you could do some creative work the old fashioned way - with a pen and notebook?

    1. Wow, that's excellent :) I love it when someone gets an 'aha' moment from something I say or write!
As for the visit, the delays weren't too bad, and in fact were mainly not to do with the hospital - baby pooped just as we were trying to leave, and traffic was bad. So, in some ways I guess you could read this as "obstacles quickly left behind, plenty of seeking for answers needed" :) Still, the reading was also good as it got me working on my book again, though after the hospital trip.
As for pen and notebook - that takes two hands! :D

  3. Hi Kerry, first of all I wish everything be well. I think it's very positive and helpful to work in your projects. Your reading is positive; and I see too, that woman (you) have the key, the wisdom and tools to get to the top (I mean to find the way to get the info you need); and too, this woman probably is a doctor in a superior charge or chief and she is who will give you the more detailed information. Mucha suerte, un beso grande y que Muchas Estrellas te van a guiar.

    1. Thanks, LM. All was well. And yes, it's good to get back to my projects :) As for the woman, we did see a nurse who treated a secondary symptom, and we hadn't expected to see her… So, obstacles, then a surprise woman, and then on to my book :D Gracias, amiga, y que tengas una semana estupenda!
